JM/SM-002: "Silver Song" Collaboration Necklace created with scrimshaw by Sam Moore. Retail only. This scrimshaw is done on fossil Mammoth Ivory. It is framed in a spectacular piece of fossil Walrus Ivory that I have been saving for over a decade until I found a purpose worthy of it's beauty. This necklace is hand fabricated in Sterling Silver ornamented with 18K Yellow Gold. The upright "arms" are shaped by forging. The clasp is hand fabricated. The scrimshaw is done in the pointillist style and consists of thousands of tiny dots. The inlay and gems set in this necklace consist of:

Sam Moore is an accomplished and recognized artist in painting, graphics, printmaking, jewelry and scrimshaw. Sam did contract scrimshaw for the Alaska Silver and Ivory Company which was located in Bellingham, Washington until 1980.
