Pearl ~ Feather Hair Extensions

Feathers have come full bloom into fashion during the last year--largely in the form of feather hair extensions, much to the chagrin of many fly fishers and fly tyers!.. Among my artistic pursuits, the one that I have pursued for the longest time is fly tying. I have pursued this art for more than 50 years--half a century. Over these years I have acquired a very large quantity of this long, lovely plumage--more than I will ever have the time to make into flies. Since i have an excess of saddle hackles, emu feathers and others that I will never have time to make into flies, I am using them to create and sell as fashion accessories such as hair extensions and earrings. On sorting through these feathers, only the best, much less than half of them, were selected as being of high enough quality to be used as fashion items. These have been hand sorted and selected. They have been hand processed, bleached and dyed for use in extensions and jewelry. With reasonable care they should hold up well--for several weeks in hair extensions and much longer in earrings. The pearl~feather extensions should not be brushed in the hair as the brushes and combs are very likely to catch in them and be damaged. Pearl~Feathers allow you to take this lovely fashion trend to a higher level.
