Prices now lowered 35%. The seats listed here are all hand made, by me. Compared with jewelry I could make with a comparable investment in time and materials, these represent an outstanding value. Reel seats come fully assembled.
Reel seats offered in the future will use methods that allow me to complete and sell them less expensively, and, though still handmade, by me, they will have a somewhat different style.

SCRIMSHAW: Bellingham, Washington, where I reside, is probably the epicenter of scrimshaw work in North America. For historical reasons, there are a large number of Scrimshanders working here. If you purchase a reel seat inlaid with fossil ivory, I can arrange to have it scrimmed with the words or design of your choice.
